Off-The-Shelf Micro-Positioning Stages Featuring 0.01mm Repeatability.
Ready-to-run, compact, low cost, high quality, micro-positioning stages, from LM76 are now available 'Off-the-shelf' in travel lengths from 10 mm to 200mm. These Micro Stage linear positioning stages are available with 6 mm lead anti-backlash Lead Screws or 4 mm lead heavy duty Ball Screws. They are ideal for: pick-and-place, assembly, sampling, testing, robotics, and other precision positioning applications.
Micro Stage: Lead Screw
The Lead Screw Micro Stage is available in three travel lengths, 10 mm, 30 mm, and 40 mm. Features include: 0.03 mm repeatability, 0.03 mm/full step resolution, max speeds of 50, 80, 100 mm/sec. The max load for all Lead Screw stages is 4.9 N (0.5 kgf). This configuration is based on a precision rolled Lead Screw. This product is designed for the most compact cross section, but is more limited in its load carrying characteristics.

Micro Stage: Ball Screw
The Ball Screw Micro Stage is available in four travel lengths, 40 mm, 60 mm, 120 mm, and 200 mm. Features include: 0.01 mm repeatability, 0.02 mm/full step resolution, max speed 120 mm/sec. The max load for all ball screw stages is 39.2 N (4.0 kgf). This Micro Stage configuration is based on a precision rolled Ball Screw, which uses a slightly larger cross section than the Lead Screw version.

General Information
The standard 28 mm stepping motor can be micro-stepped and it also can be supplied with an optional encoder for closed loop operation. These Micro Stage linear positioning stages have stainless steel way covers. These light-weight stages can be mounted vertically (z-axis). Optional End-of-Travel limit switches are easily adjustable.
